In sales figures for February released Thursday afternoon by NPD, the retail tracking firm, Microsoft’s Xbox One nearly matched the U.S. sales of the PlayStation 4. That was a sharp narrowing of the lead Sony had in monthly sales, leading to speculation that Sony fans are getting tired of hunting for the PlayStation 4, which is in short supply.
