Visible, the new app-based wireless carrier backed by Verizon, announced today that it will begin selling its own devices, and it’s also opening up the service to Android. Previously, the service was restricted to iOS, and users had to bring their own unlocked iPhones to use with Visible’s SIM card.
Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus phones, along with 11 iPhone models, are now available on Visible’s website, and the company says more Android devices will be added in the coming weeks. Customers now have the option of bringing their own devices or purchasing phones, either outright or in monthly installments, through Visible’s financing partner Affirm with 0 percent APR financing.
