Google is officially bringing Nest into the fold. The smart home device maker, which has been both a separate company under Alphabet and part of Google, is now getting rebranded under the Nest name, the company announced during its Google I/O 2019 keynote.
Nest will be the brand going forward for Google’s home products — last year’s Home Hub is getting renamed to be called the Google Nest Hub, alongside a newly announced, larger Nest Hub Max that Google just unveiled onstage.
