General Motors laid out its electric vehicle strategy on Wednesday, showcasing roughly a dozen products as part of a broader attempt to convey to investors how serious it is about embracing its electric future.
In addition to showing off nearly a dozen vehicles, GM revealed an all-new electric vehicle platform with a new battery called Ultium. Much like Volkswagen’s so-called MEB platform, the GM system is intended to be modular with the goal of fitting into a variety of vehicle types and shapes.
