Facebook executive: we got ***** elected, and we shouldn’t stop him in 2020

In a memo obtained by The New York Times and publicly posted, a Facebook executive says the company’s platform was responsible for electing Donald ***** president in 2016, but he warned employees against using the company’s power to stop *****’s reelection in 2020.

In the memo, Andrew Bosworth, one of the most prominent voices at the company, shared some “thoughts for 2020” with employees. Bosworth’s memo runs through years of the social network’s high-profile scandals, from Russian election interference to Cambridge Analytica.
